The Castle is one of the truly unique recording studios in the world in that it once served as a rest stop and hideout for one of the Roaring Twenties' most notorious figures, Al Capone.  Built between 1929 and 1932, the castle sits on 34 cedar-covered acres just 15 minutes south of Nashville, and once housed Capone bookmaker John Welch.  Since that time, the Castle has served as a bootlegging site, a gambling house, and even an upscale restaurant. But, to this day, rumors and legends of escape tunnels and “unofficial” graves still surround the stone edifice.
Converted to a studio in 1981 by the Nuyens Family, the Castle now serves as a world class recording facility.  Our staff, two studios, extensive equipment list, full kitchen, and relaxed atmosphere are ready to assist in making your recording experience a successful one.
